MG Motor is going to launch its second car in the Indian market after the success of its first car Hector. This will be MG Motor’s first electric car in India. MG Motor will launch its first electric crossover SUV MG ZS EV on tomorrow. MG ZS EV will be launched in two variants Exclusive and Excite. MG Motor is officially booking it’s all-electric SUV MG ZS EV long back. If you are interested in this car, you can book it through the company’s website by paying 50 thousand rupees.
Talk about the price of MG ZS EV, We expect MG to price the electric SUV from Rs 23 lakh to Rs 25 lakh initially, this car will be available only in Delhi, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad. The MG ZS EV will be available in color schemes of white, blue and red.
Features in Excite and Exclusive variant
The Excite will be the entry-level variant and company. The company has given different features in both variants. first, we talk about the Excite variant, the company will provide different features such as an 8-inch touchscreen, four speakers, six airbags, tyre pressure monitoring system and ESP. And we talk about the Exclusive variant features are roof rails, leather seats, a dual-pane sunroof, PM2.5 air filter, six-way adjustable driver seat, rain-sensing front wiper, and ismart EV 2.0. Both variants will feature six airbags, ESP, EBD with ABS, Hill Start, Descent Control, TPMS Pedestrian Warning System, ISOFIX child seat mounting points, seatbelt pre-tensioners, and rear fog lamps.
The car has achieved a five-star rating in crash ratings in Europe. MG has assumed that this model will be introduced in the Indian market. MG ZS EV achieved a 90% score in adult occupancy protection in the Euro NCAP crash test.
The MG ZS EV SUV will get a 44.5 kWh battery pack, which will give 143 PS of power and 353 Nm of torque. MG Motor claims that this battery will be charged up to 80 percent with a fast charger of 50 kW DC in just 40 minutes while charging with a 7 kW charger will take seven hours. The MG ZS EV SUV will cover a distance of 340 km on full battery charging.
