India’s first bike manufacturer Hero MotoCorp has launched his new bike Hero splendor plus with the Bus 6 engine. Apart from this, Hero has also launched two other models Maestro Edge 125 and Destini 125 scooters with BS6 engine. The price of all three two-wheelers has been increased compared to the BS4 variants. company has launched the bike in three different variants. Which includes kick start with alloy wheel, self starts with alloy wheel and i3s variant with alloy wheel.

Self starts with alloy wheel Rs 61,900 (Ex-Showroom)
i3s variant with alloy wheel Rs 63,110 (Ex-Showroom)

Hero Splendor Plus features
The styling of the BS6 Hero Splendor plus is similar to that of the BS4 model. However, the bike comes in new decals and new dual-tone color options. The engine check light is also provided on its instrument console. The BS6 Splendor Plus is available in three variants – Kick with Alloy Wheel, Self with Alloy Wheel and Self with i3S and Alloy Wheel. The company has used the drum brakes in both front and rear wheels with telescopic fork suspension and dual shock observer in this new splendor. The weight of this new splendor plus is more than the BS4 model because the new splendor has contained an 11-litre fuel capacity.
Hero Splendor Plus engine
The Splendor Plus features BS6 compliant 100cc, single-cylinder engine with access technology and fuel-injection. This engine generates a power of 7.91 bhp at 8000 rpm and 8.05 Nm peak torque at 6000 rpm. and the engine is paired with 4-speed manual gearbox. However, the engine power is slightly reduced in BS6 as compared to BS4 version. The power of this engine in BS4 is 8.24 bhp.
